It’s bathroom week

I’ve been very much enjoying bathroom week. So many of you lovely folk have sent in your inspirational bathroom photos, I’ve been saving them on my highlights…take a looksee. Bathrooms have been very much on my mind as I’ve been designing 2 this week, one of my fave rooms to design. I think it’s potentially as I’m a big tile lover, I love the amazing array of colours and textures. Anyway enough about me and my tile fascination. Here’s a few fantastic bathrooms I have shot during my many home tours…

Pink and blue for you

This is @rosshiers super lovely pink and blue bathroom. Proving that petite can still pack a punch. She was lucky that the flooring came with the house, so that helped influence the colour scheme. The Hague blue @farrowandball wood panelling and the pink tiles give a great colour block effect. And if you know me, you know I love a good grid tile.

A modern and traditional mix

Big love sighs for Kate @sessions_and_co bathroom. The @mandarinstoneofficial floor tiles are the big power move here, creating an artwork for the floor. I enjoy the contrast of this bold modern design with the more traditional and elegant furnishings. The soft nude walls gives an extra restful feel too. So stylish.

Wild about the bathroom

I am just wild about this bathroom (lol sorry!!). @mothsintherattan has given her downstairs loo some big design love and it looks incredible. Small bathrooms are the perfect place to go big with wallpaper, a little shot of excitement. It all works so beautifully with the marble and brass too. Check out @wildheartswonder for their amazing range.

The coolest kids bathroom

I just can’t get enough of @claryandpeg home. It seems each time I do a themed week I end up using one of my pics of her home. It’s one I will never forget. Her confident use of bold colour sent me into a love spiral. This is her kids bathroom (lucky kids!) and it’s just some simple yellow and white tiles but arranged ini the coolest way to create a really ‘designed’ look. True love.

Mix tile magic

Everything in Carol @maxmademedoit home is so well put together. Every room just feels so beautifully finished. I love the gorgeous green herringbone floor tiles, in contrast with the pink square grid tiles. Did I say I love tiles? Ha. Then the vintage sign is just the cherry on the top. So good.
